🎧 «Outed On Friday!» Playlist Submission Guidelines

Welcome to the official submission portal for the «Outed On Friday!» playlist. Below you'll find everything you need to know to get your track considered.

🚀 How to Submit Your Song

There are two ways to be featured:

1. Primary Method: Direct Submission

Submit your track directly to our review team. Please follow these rules:

• Track Length: Must be under 4 minutes.

• Submission Limits:

  • Independent artists: 1 track every 30 days.

  • Labels/managers: Up to 2 tracks from different artists every 30 days.

• Platform Availability: Your song must be live on:

  • Spotify

  • Apple Music

  • iTunes

  • YouTube Music

• One Version Only: If your song has previously appeared on the chart, remixes or alternate versions cannot be resubmitted.

• Social Media Requirement:

  • You must follow us on BlueSky, TikTok, and either Apple Music or Spotify.

  • Our AI will verify your social media links. Invalid links will result in automatic deletion of your submission. Ex. So not following us on BlueSky will trigger our AI to delete your submission.

2. Secondary Method: «Lucky Pick»

This route is based on internal recommendations from our review team.

• Social media mentions do not influence selection.

• We may share your content, but this does not guarantee playlist placement.

📣 Expectations for Featured Artists

If your song is selected for the «Outed On Friday!» or LGBTQ Music Chart playlists:

• You are expected to actively promote your music.

• Failure to do so may affect future submissions or result in removal from the playlist.

• All selected tracks will be featured in our weekly radio show, broadcast on 18 stations.

📬 Communication & Support

• Distribution Issues: Contact us via BlueSky if your track isn’t appearing correctly on music platforms.

• Direct Messages: We do not respond to DMs on Facebook or Instagram. Please use BlueSky for all inquiries.

🗓 Weekly Playlist Structure

Each week, we select 5 new songs:

• 2 debut artists

• 3 returning artists

Returning artists are prioritized based on previous engagement with the chart and social media. Lack of engagement may delay future placements.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Submission does not guarantee inclusion.

• We cannot provide a timeline for when your song might be added.

• We review a high volume of entries weekly.

• You will not receive an email confirmation. If you see the “Thank You” message, your submission has been received.
